“Procession alongside Minerva Terrace” Painting

“Procession Alongside Minerva Terrace” Painting. Oil over acrylic on Basswood. (H18 x W24 x D3/4).

“Procession Alongside Minerva Terrace” was painted to to convey the experience I had during the Tourist season at Yellowstone National Park. I extended the boardwalk and added park visitors to express the crowds that would gather when there would be wildlife making an appearance. I began to get the impression that the animals inhabiting the park are celebrities in a way. This amused me.
